Hey Hey Macrame

Whaooo, what an awesome group!  Our macrame wall hanging workshop was a blast!  This one started early and ended late and the results were a testament to the hard work these ladies put in!  

Think we look loopy in the photo?  Well, yeah, it was after 10pm!

In this workshop we planned to teach three basic macrame knots.  But, these ladies immediately started creating unique wall hangings which gave us the opportunity to teach even more.  Square knots, twisted knots and braids galore.

Muah! We hope you got some rest ladies and can't wait to craft with you again!

Mmmm, hummus-filled bell peppers and mini pumpkin pies.  Got-to love fall snacks!  We do!

BHLDN Bridal Event

We were so thrilled to be a part of the Anthropologie & BHLDN Wedding Fair! Skills + Frills set up a craft bar next to incredible vendors including: Amigo Booth, Magnolia Bakery, Heirloom LA, The Little Branch & The Why We Love!  

Although we didn't get a chance to eat, the food looked insane (no surprise from Heirloom)! But, they did bring us over a cucumber cocktail that was a combination of juicing and, well, juicing (read light green juice with vodka!)!  So delicious!

On tap at our craft bar: Keychains! Pom poms, tassels and beads galore!   Despite our love of everything crafty we totally underestimated the power of our goods and had a line out the door!  We couldn't have enjoyed the evening more, shaking it & making it to amazing tunes! (We need to find out the name of the DJ because he was dy-no-mite!) 

Looking forward to our next Anthro Event!

All in the details:  And sooo .... we went a little overboard!  Flower garland (making a comeback you know), tassel garland on chain (our newest obsession made by: us), cocktail glasses filled with beads, insane Oreo cheesecake pops by Tickle Me Sweet (um, gone in 60 seconds), vintage accessory vibes by G3QDesigns, and chalkboard perfection by LauraStewartDesigns (Laura S. can't stop!).
